thatpetplace.com???

Has anyone ever ordered fish from www.thatpetplace.com? I looked at their selection and they carry a lot of fish, but I don't know whether they are reputable or not? Any experience with them?

Hey Kate,
I am looking to place an order on a variety of fish so I was kinda hoping that they are reputable because it is way cheaper if I can get everything from the same place and only pay for shipping once. They have a 5 day stay alive guarantee on their fish, but I know that liveaquaria puts a 14 day guarantee on their fish, but their shipping is expensive. I know that lots of people have ordered fish meds and stuff from them, but I don't know about actual fish

I have checked out their fish there, and I agree they were cheaper. I hope someone has had experience with them and can let you know. What are you thinking of getting from them in the way of fish?
EDIT:
Actually now I remember looking at their fish there and Im thinking that they are pretty expensive. I noticed that the Discus IMO are way over priced. I just checked the link out... I think those prices on fish are a little high, now that I looked at it again..

I've ordered fish supplies from them a number of times and been happy with them.

I am looking to buy some african cichlids and some smaller plecos. I sold back a lot of my africans to the LFS for credit because I accidently ordered two breeding groups of fish that have really pretty males and really dull females. That is fine in most cases, but they were taking up the majority of the room in my tank and it was not very nice to look at with 11 grey/brown females and two pretty males. I am setting up one of my 29 gallons as a tank for some carnivorous dwarf plecos such as the Queen Arabesque and Snowball Pleco. Hopefully when I am finished stocking I will be able to add a betta in to hang out at the top of the tank.

Thanks. That's good to know. I was amazed with the selection that they had. Maybe I'll just have to be the first to try them out so that I can tell everyone else how they are

I'm not sure a Betta would be good with those plecos. They tend to sleep on the bottom and could be injured or killed by the plecos.

Good to know. My bettas usually sleep in their plants at the tops of their tanks, but I may not want to risk it. The plecos that I picked are supposed to be peaceful and good community fish, but I wouldn't want to jepordize the betta.
