i figue this way i dont have to worry about ton of breeding if i want a batch of fry i can select a male and put him in the 20 gallon and then once he gets lucky take him out ...when the fry is born move to 5.5 ...then i could bring some to the LFS ..i could keep some fry and donate some adults to lfs...etc.

Sounds like an awesome setup, with the potential to be beautifully well done. You're definately doing justice by the guppies. I bet with the proper plants and seascaping you could make your friends jealous.

(sidenote: make sure not to donate guppies near their second year, not that you personally would, but incase someone else reads this post. )

Ya, if you have lots of green plants, it will make it look so beautiful. Didn't you say it was cycling? If it is, now would be the best time to add all of the plants.

yeah i got like 8 plantes in it now and to bigger rock and log type decor...you knoow just to get started...its alot of money...i got about 65 dollars to work with right now.....and ill just start with the 3 males that are in my 20 gallon to get it going.and then ill see how my fry turns out...do you think its good idea to keep the males and females separted unless i want to breed...i thnk that would be nice for the gupps becuase they wont get over breed so they can stay healthy
