SA Dwarf Cichlids source

I just returned From The Amazon cichlid dealer!!! WOW! What a wonderful setup they have. Several varieties of the dwarf cichlids, angel fish and catfish including some stunning pleco's. Check them out theamazonbasement.com Are shipping regularily and raising their own fish mostly. All tanks are spotless...never saw a sick looking fish etc.

I of course returned home with:

1 pair of apisto. cacatuoids (cockatoos) already had 2 females.
2 pairs of apisto. Borelli Opal variety,
2 corys duplicarius...what a cool little fish with the bright orange area in front of their dorsal fin.

dwarfs

Yes pics to come...after they settle in. Right now is some gentle shoving going on here and there... sort of which species gets which side of the tank...and who wants the delux condo...lol
The Borelli's are young and won't fully color up for a while....but his breeding pairs were just incredible.

I have a 55 gal long tank setup for cover, caves and hiding on each end. Personally I would pick the caves and cubbies with a view...lol

Have already fallen in love with the cory's....never heard of that type before.

And now my wish list has the pleco's too...the ones he has don't get too big and the prices will be going up...Brazil has banned the export of Pleco's..so everyone will be trying to breed them....I say good!! I would hate to think I may own the last or nearly last of any species...that's a burden I would hate to carry, and it is up to the breeders to save them.

Sorry to rambling there!!
