what types of anemones and corals will the False Percula Clown Fish, Amphiprion ocellaris host and which will the True Percula Clown host?

bubble coral, leathers, magnifica anenmones , bta , or they may just not host anything ,
maroons are easier to get to host anemones

i really like maroons but my tank is only 36 gallons and the maroons get pretty big. How many other fish can i have in the tank? I know this is dependent on the type and size of the fish. Maroons are also pretty aggressive so what types of fish could i keep with one? Also, if i get a very small maroon will it grow to its max 6in in my 36g? Also thinking of adding a 10g sump/refugium to help water quality.

your profile says you have a 55g with a 36 you dont have much options with out going over stocked you have 8.5 inchs of fully grown fish for stocking , (16 litres of water to 1 inch of fully grown fish) perc clowns require a 30 gal minimum and 10 gal each additonial clown added ,, as for anemones you need a mature tank for these to survive or your just waste your money ,,

No, you would still need to stick to the tanks stocking options. The species for tank size also goes for room to swim not just bioload.

so will a maroon clown grow to its full size (6in?) in a 36g or will its growth b stunted?

My clowns are now hosting my 7 headed frogspawn. Took them 2 weeks from when I introduced the frogspawn for them to figure it out, but now they love it.
