compatibility with another fish

I was needing a clown loach because of a snail issue , and currently have a marble angelfish in my 75 gall tank , would the clown loach nip at the angelfish or bother it ,if i choose to get it ?

Clowns get BIG and should be kept in groups.

I agree. And, as I have already posted, I really think fish should be added because they are liked in their own right, not just to do a job. Did you try the manual removal method, or cutting down on feeding?

Hi fishchick, I agree with Brian. Those fish get huge and really need to be in a colony of other clown loaches. They sure are cute though - I just saw some babies at the store.

Throw a slice of cucumber in the tank after lights out and remove in the morning with the snails attached to the cucumber. repeat process until they are gone. I know a few people who have done this, although it takes some time it will eventually work.
Also like already said cut back on feeding your fish and you slow down the breeding of the snails a bit.

Clowns get way to big for your tank. You could add a smaller species of loach to your tank though. Yoyo's would be a great choice for your tank.
