Have a look at this artical that i found on a web site of a good fish magazine .It says about Clowns spawning can this be true ?.

It's a possibility.. but...If I had spawned clown loaches Don't you think I would have taken pictures and plastered them everywhere? I had read another story about clowns spawning but the aquarist didn't know anything until he saw a couple of tiny loaches under a plant and only a couple survived. He never had them spawn again and had no clue as to what the spawning triggers were. this is how it is with loaches.Ii know someone who has spawned kuhlis in his home aquarium but has no clue how.
I believe clowns have to be about seven years old to spawn and most don't live to be that old or have adequate room to spawn at that size.
Wouldn't it be wonderful to do that?

I know what you are saying about taken pictures ,thats what made me think it might not be true because if my camera was in the garage and i could not get to it ,i would go and buy another one .
It would be good if they did spawn at home because that would save the wild stocks ,and baby clowns what a laugh they would be to watch .
I posted the article for you to look at Carol because you know so much about fish and i respect all the advice that you have given every body cheers boff

Ive found some more articals about breeding them.It does seem possable but they are all very large 12" or so ,but still no pictures .

I think they are being bred somewhere in Indonesia but they are using hormones to make them breed. I can't think this would produce healthy fish or keep the adults healthy long. But eventually someone will breed them, and then look out clowns!!!!!
