clown loach in a catfish community?

would a clown loach do well and not cause trouble in a community of 6 upside down catfish and 6 cory's, along with some tetras?

Clown Loaches need to be in groups of three or more to be happy and display their natural habits. I personally don't feel the 55g is big enough for three clown Loaches as they get rather large. The footprint of a 55g would all be taken up with Six upside down catfish and six corys.

The Clowns would have been fine with those fish as they are not
aggressive at all, but like Carol said they do get big (slowly)
and would eventually outgrow your 55g, have you considered
polka dot loaches? they are an interesting active Loach and max out
at around 4".
