Stripes/ Monty

Brought home two clown loaches yesterday. They immediately started eating the snails - the reason I bought them. They also staked out Flips the Frog's castle. Don't know if Flips minds or not. I know when I had a tetra that was hanging out in the castle, the tetra wound up missing. I still think Flips did him in, but I don't know. Never found a tetra corpse. I have another house, but no one likes going inside it for some reason. Anyway, the loaches are so cute. They are very small right now so they are in a 28 gallon bowfront. I will get a bigger tank when they get too big. Right now they share it with two mollies and four tetras and the frog. This morning I have been watching the assault on the snail population. It is a riot. Between the loaches and my insane ballon belly molly who thinks she is a vacuum cleaner, I have the cleanest tank. Accept, I think I am gonna need to do some sucking out snail shells.!!!

Clown Loaches are such sweet fish and avid snail eaters. Yep glad you realize you will need a much larger tank very soon. heres a place to get great loach information.
