I have a new tank that's either doing a mini-cycle or full cycle. I bought a 55 gallon and dumped 20 gallons of water and substrate from cycled tanks into it and I'm using a filter that was on a cycled tank then off for 24 hours while a leak was repaired, then back on the new tank. the problem is that with the substrate and plants and water from the old tanks came some ring worms/snails. would it be safe to get a couple of clown loaches to take care of the pests while the tank either mini-cycles or fully cycles?

I dunno a lot about clown loaches but I think they're not so hardy and are esspecially prone too ICH but dont trust me.
