cloudy surface

that cloudy surface has returned in my tank and i havent put my hands in the tank or nothin new has been added the fish arent bothered by it but im just wonderin whats causin it could it b the food? it disappears when i do my water change every saturday

Craig refresh my memory on how much surface agitation you have please.
Some foods can cause that little film. My Omega One seems to do it, I think its the fish oil in the food. I notice it more in the tanks that don't have as much surface agitation also when I feed more than I should. Hope that helps.

i hav the fluval 2 plus filter u c thats the thing where the strong flow of the filter that comes out of it that side of the tank is clear!!! its the front side of my tank that has the cloudy surface!! thats a very good point ! the back of my tank water surface is clear cause of the strong water flow!

The cloudness probably isn't harmful, but you could add some surface agitation if it bothers you

A bubbler maybe any thing that stirs the surface.
