Here's how to post a pic.
How Do I: Attach Pictures to my post
It would be hard for the members to give proper advice without more info.
Is this a new tank? Any fish? What size tank?
Is it cycled? What are your readings for ammonia, nitrite and nirtrate?

it its kind of new, it has 3 clownloaches, 2 silver dollars, 1 firemouth, 1 blue gourami, 1 tiger barb, and one rubber lip pleco. it is a 63g with a penguin 350 filter (70g). no clue what the ammonia nitrite and nitrate is... and the photo size like ain't working...

Hmm, I think you're going to be very overstocked with that, and tiger barbs fin nip, especially when they're alone.

Did you cycle the tank before you did anything? Cycles sometimes cause bacterial blooms.

im not famlilar with clown loaches or how big they get..but the rest of the fish will not overstock the 63 gal...how big do clown loaches get? tiger barbs NEED to be in 5-7 schools to be content and happy...but until you figure out whats going on in the tank, and depending on how big the clowns get, depends on adding more.......stress zyme is something that wont cycle the tank unless you use it forever....its not self sustaining bacteria and is more of a boost after the cycle is completed..but it wont cycle a fresh tank....as you know, you really need a test kit for absolute answers to most problems, but it does sound like a bacteria bloom and the tank isnt cycled from aquarium info you have provided

According to the profile on the website

"Size : 12 inches (30 cm)
Tank Size : 55 gallon or larger."

ty llama!!..is that from the get go ? he has a 63 gal and not sure if hes "GOING" to be overstocked or "IS " overstocked....but still a test kit is needed IMO to know exactly where the tank sits

my tiger barb is really fine since he hangs with my loaches and actually thinks he is one because i've caught him lying on his side and i did cycle it and my computer won't let me post pics on here!!!

Woah, it looks like pea soup.

I think you have one amazing amount of nitrates to have formed that. Leaving the tank in dark for a while (anda good PWC) should help fix the problem.

agree with llama. put a thick blanket over it for like 3 days. then do a water change.

You should feed your fish, then when they are done eating do a 50% water change and then cover it up so not a trace of light can get into the tank (and leave the lights off) then dont look at the tank for 3-5 days, and no peeking if its not clear leave it another day, when its clear do another 50% change and your good to go

If you don't solve what caused the bloom it will be back. I would look at length of time you have the lights on, overfeeding the fish, over fertilizing, etc.
Looks better though!! =)

i'd get a test kit and see where your levels are, how often do you normally change the water?
