My 1st problem ....HELP !!!

hi all, just tested my water
ammonia - .25ppm
nitriIe - .0ppm
nitrate - 5.0ppm
advice please

A good size water change to get that ammonia down to zero.

I agree with amanda and unless you have ammonia in your tap water, it should help alot!

doing water change as i type ..... got kids a dog told them they had to clean up behind her .... so i must set an example and change water for the fish tonight
