Foggy water

I do not have a test kit, I have had my dempsey for two years. This aquarium for one year. My water looks foggy, this is the second time in two years, what do I do

welcome to fishlore!! sounds like maybe a bacteria bloom ..a test kit would rule out alot of things ..overfeeding, more tank vacuuming needed, overstocking, new decorations, new subtrate, new fish added and the bacteria is trying to catch up ..those are just some...without a test kit and the tank readings, its hard to tell..mini cycles happen alot

thaks for the reply. I think that I over cleaned it, but ya never know without the test kits.
