Has anybody use Algone?

Got a little issue my tank went cloudy again after changing the media. Did some research and found this product "Algone" Has anyone used? Does it work?
Thanks.

Personally I'd figure out the cause of the cloudy water before I used any chemicals.

Here's one link I found when I googled it...
Someone on this list suggested more frequent water changes, adding a small filter and allowing time for excess nutrients to be used up...I did just that plus added poly filter pad & Pure Flo filter pad and water is now close to being cystal clear. All this took about a month; if I recall correctly that's how long it took my freshwater tank to clear up using Algone.
I don't think (at least I don't recall) the mfg says exactly what Algone is or what is in Algone.
saltwater fish and inverts are too expensive for me to experiment with....

Most of them said it worked for algae, but that it doesn't say what is in it, so you really don't know what you're putting in your tank.

If it's changing the filter media that causes it, my best advice is to try changing less of the media at a time so you don't lose too much bacteria.

Thanks. Maybe next time instead of changing the media in both filters I only change it in one. I was also looking what is the actual product but did not find anything. Well I guess I just do water changes while it clears. Thanks again.
