What Happened!

hi everyone, as some of you know I had decided to reconstruct my aquarium and let it cycle again. well I cannot believe what I'm seeing today I got home and went to look at the tank and it was the cloudiest mess you have ever seen! I looked around and everything was in working order. and the most annoying part is that it doesn't even contain fish or inverts yet! the only thing I could think of was the java moss I put in yesterday and then removed because it kept falling apart and wrapping itself around the filter impeller when it got sucked up. I added something to clarify the water called "brite and clear" made by Mardel. I treated it for 20 gallons and it a 27 gallon hex tank. right now there is an economy corner filter and an aqua clear 200 (50) on/ in it. I have no idea what happened. I did everything that the directions on the products said to do (gravel, decoration, etc.) the aqua clear is kind of finicky and sometimes it stops and then you give it a kick and its back in business (its old). I also forgot to pick up some more test strips so I don't have readings to give. PLEASE HELP! I AM SO DISGUSTED WITH WHATEVER I DID! I AM READY TO STRANGLE MYSELF!

Strangling yourself would hurt and you'd pass out before you finished the job, so that option is out.

It's proabably just a bacterial bloom from cycling. It should clear up in a few days.

Yes, that is likely all it is. The FW tanks i've put together always go through that for a few days. In a couple weeks you will likely see an explosion of brown diatoms. These will also go away after a little time and your tank shouldn't suffer them again.

Fairly sure.
Everything'll be ok and there's no fish to worry about.

Let's see what other's have to say.
