I spilled a container of fish food in my tank and now I have cloudy water.

The title pretty much says it all. I have one of those water pressure vacs to clean the gravel and for water changes, and right after it happened I sucked up as much as I could. That was about 2 weeks ago. A couple days later the water started to get intensely cloudy. I did a water test, and all my levels are fine - pH on the high side, but my fish are doing well. Since then I have done 1/2 - 1/3 water changes every 5, 6 days but the water always gets super cloudy a couple days after. what to do?

thanks!!

If I were you, I would try to do one large water change to hopefully get rid on any remaining food that is rotting away at the bottom. Change about 75% of the water and see how things are after that.

But make sure you vaccum most of that water change because it will mostly be in the gravel
