My 20g is cycled and I want to get fish as soon as I clean it up, but the water is still cloudy. It got cloudy during the ammonia spike, went away, and got cloudy again during the nitrite spike, but it hasn't gone away. Is it just because of all the rotting stuff in there? Will it be ok to add fish after a huge water change?

If you tank is cycled, it might be just the gunk from the bottom. If it was my tank, I'd try and figure out what's causing the clouidness before adding some fish. Try vacuuming 1/4 or 1/2 of the gravel and see if that helps. Keep feeding the bacteria though until you add fish.

The cloudiness was pretty much gone today. There was a TON of gunk on the bottom. I did a massive water change, and now it looks nice and clean. I already got some fish. I figured it would be ok since the cloudiness was almost gone today.
