is it a white cloudy?? This is usually an indication that the tank is really beginning to cycle and is sometimes called a "bacterial bloom" Basically, your tank has started to grow the necessary bacteria to keep your fish safe. This hobby takes patience, so don't be in such a rush

Do you have a
test kit? You need to monitor
ammonia nitrite and
nitrate levels...it usually takes about 2 weeks or so for a tank to completely cycle. After 2 weeks, if you test your water and get 0
PPM for Ammonia and Nitrite, then you can add some fish.
If you choose, you can help the cycle alog by adding 1-3 hardy fish such as zebra danios and guppies. Why did you add salt to the water? Are you starting a freshwater or saltwater tank? Salt isn't necessary and can be downright harmful to many
freshwater fish.
