My cloudy water

for the last two months i have had to change my water approx. every two weeks, because the water becomes very cloudy. i have put nothing new in the tank, i clean it the same way as before nothing different. i have not added any new fish and i changed the filter, but after two weeks, the water begins to look cloudy, what can that be

If you only have 1 filter in the tank and you change it, that could cause a bacterial bloom which is what you are seeing when you water becomes cloudy. It should disappear, and your water should become crystal clear in a couple of days. Unless you absolutely have to, don't change your filter media until it becomes so clogged, water has trouble going through it. If you have the type of media that can be rinsed of sloshed in used tank water, that's the way to go.
