I just bopught a new tank and there are no leaks or anything but the "stripping" ( i dont know wut to call it ) --the rim that goes on the outside-trimming i guess is in pretty bad shape ! Is there anything I can do to make it look better. Can I take it off and buy more--or just leave it off like a seamless tank ?? Any other ideas ? I will try to post pic if i can.

have you filled the tank (outside or in a tub) and let it sit over night yet? if not, id do that FIRST!! ..those seams are very important part of the tank and id be nervous if they are falling apart ...unless they are just the rim part for decoration type and not holding the tank together...id still fill it overnight to be sure...if its just for decoration purposes, you can super glue them back on..can you get a pic of it?

i tried to get pics but i they wont post !! I havent tested for leaks yet but I will tonight !

if they wont post, they probably are too big and you need to resize...there is no auto resizing on the new host here so you have to do that on your own...
