I just purchased a lee ultimate gravel cleaner that comes with the thing that you attach to your sink for water changes. I want to know how do you add water conditioner when using this. I used to use 5 gall water jugs and treat the water in the jug before adding it to the tank. If the water is going directly into the tank how much do you treat, the added amount or the whole tank?

If you're using prime, the directions say if you're adding untreated water to the tank, add enough for the whole tank.

When I change water in my tank with a python I just add double the dose of AmQuel+. So I take out 5 gallons and put in enough water conditioner for 10
