Vacuuming a grass floor?

I was thinking about getting a lot of grass type plant in order to make a nice grass floor. But the problem is how do i vacuum it?

I think what you need to do is hold the siphon above the "grass" and swirl it to try and kick up the gunk. It's not 100% effective but it does work.
