black slime?

Our 90L tank has been fine until recentley. The water tests are all stable, the fish are healthy and not over-stocked, we feed them once a day (just enough) & do the usual weekly part water change and clean-up.
We are experiencing a black slime which coats the gravel and plants (after about 3-4 days after weekly maint). Is it a type of algae and how do we get it under control?
Tank is in good site with no direct sunlight and the tank lights are on between 9am - 9pm.
Any help please?

Good morning Kiwi. More than likely what your tank is experiencing is Diatoms/ brown algae. It will eventually go away on its own with water changes and gravel vacuums. You can clean the plants if you have them by just rubbing it off. It's very common in newly established tanks and will eventually go away on it's own. I don't think you have anything to worry about. Is your aquarium information up to date in your profile?
