is there an external filter system that gets poop out the tank as my plecs are
a bit messy to say the least and im trying to get my water steady to encourage them to breed but im having to do water changes every day to take out the poop,, its 10% a day,, i dont want to do ten a day,, 20 a week tops really,,
is there a solution or quite simply am i doing it already.

no there isnt john...gravel vacs and water changes are the only way ..if you dont want to do this, then maybe plecs arent a good fish for you to breed...they are BIG BIG poo'ers as you know

maybe someone should design one,, i love plecs and will have to make do,, or barring that maybe ill try every 3 days but keeping an eye on my levels

or upgrade your tank size because I dont think theres going to be a filter or machine that cleans up fish poo anytime soon LOL thats part of being a fish lover
