Siphon/Gravel Cleaner Sizes

Hi, I am new and have found a wealth of info from you all.. Thanks!!

I noticed that Siphon/Gravel Cleaners comes in different sizes, does it matter which size I use for my 20G long?

Good morning. Use any size gravel cleaner that you are comfortable with. For a 20g I think a medium size one would do nicely and easy to handle.

Welcome to Fish Lore.
I agree with aquarist48. I use the medium for my 10's and 30 and a small for my 5's.

Hi and welcome to FishLore!

In my 20 high I use a mini (actually use that size for all my tanks, the rest are smaller). I find that way I clean the gravel thoroughly, but don't empty my tank in the process - usually I end up removing 10-15% of the water during a good gravel vac. I don't think there's a 'right' answer, you just use whichever one works the best for you!
