washing your hands

after you have had your hands in the tank do you carefully wash, scrub, and sanitize yourself?
I guess i have to admit that often i dry my hands on a towel and leave it at that. am i wrong to think that my tank is healthy and not likely to carry more ickies then my kids come home with from school?
or am i setting myself up to get sick

I just rinse my hands and towel dry before and after. No soap prior to cleaning the tank.

Most of the time I just towel dry. If going to be eating soon, I wash my hands, though.
