Too Clean???

I have a 20 gallon tank. I clean it every weekend because of the algae build up on the sides. Are they any NEGATIVE effects of cleaning it and changing 20% of the water EVERY WEEK?

I can't think of any
Many people change more than that weekly depending on the size of the tank, its inhabitants and feeding habits.

The only people who won't be happy with all the cleaning are the algae eaters, but you can feed those using tablets or they can suck the plants or something.

nope i do 50% weekly water changes and use an algae scrubber on each tank. i don't have any algae eaters (besides snails), but if you do then you can buy sinking algae wafers and fresh veggies are great as well
