what if my syphon isnt strong enough to pick up the poo.

I have to agree with Lucy on the . Whew tummy still rolling and I do not have a weak stomach don't know why that bothered me. Anyway back to your problem tweezers maybe. Maybe you don't have enough vacuum on your siphon. I know with mine when I had oscars I had to make sure that I had a good "fall" with my hose from the tank to the floor. Sometimes would have to get the hose a lot lower than the tank to get it to pull up oscar poo.

Larger siphon, large turkey baster, rubber gloves and a scoop (?)

Cat poop scoop! just scoop the gravel like a litter box!

maybe a reverse undergravel filter? it pushes water out instead of sucking it in, and can push the waste up into the aquarium where you could net it out
