Can I Remove Decor To Partial Water Change

Hey Guys,
I know i've already asked this question but when I tried vacuuming without removing the decor, it was really hard to vacuum around it. It feels like when I accidentally hit one of the plants base it feels like the glass is gonna break out. What should I do? Is the glass really gonna break out or am I just becoming paranoid? Oh and by the way we're returning the paradise gourami and getting a 5 gallon heated tank in a few months and putting a betta in it maybe, but thats not for a long time. (For those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about, just ignore me lol)

i'm a little confused, you have glass bases for your plants or are you talking about the tank glass?

i would just go around it for your regular water changes, and every month or so shift things around a bit so you can get in the spots you couldn't really reach before

Sometimes I remove my plants and put them in the bucket that I'm siphoning the tank water into and give 'em a rinse. Other times I just lift them up, vacuum and set the back down.

Glad to hear about the Paradise Fish. I know that's a hard desicion for you, but best for the fish. Good job.

I do the same as Lucy. I will move all my plants and decor to one side of the tank while I vacuum the other side and then move them to the side I've already vacuumed and vacuum the other side. Or I pull them out and put them in my 5 gallon bucket and give them a rinse. I do vacuum the whole tank under plants and decor every time I do a water change which is once a week since my tanks are cycled.
