Python tube size

Does anyone know how long the gravel cleaning tube (the part that goes in the tank) is on the python cleaner? We are getting ready to order one and I want to have a long enough tube so we can clean the gravel with out having our whole arm in the tank...our tank is 24 inches long. Oh if it makes any difference we are getting the 25' kit from drsfostersmith.com

I just measured it. It is only 10 inches long.. My arm gets pretty darn wet when I am cleaning my aquarium. I believe mine is the 25-foot long as well.

We attached a longer tube to a hose and made a new attachment so we can get in deep tanks like our 120 and 55g tanks.
We have a friend who does water quality testing for the province. He gave us the plastic tubing...it what they use to get samples. My BF just took it apart and attached it to the Python.
I just spilled my tea as I was taking the pix lol so excuse the tea drops on the floor.

If you don't want to make one. Here is a 30" one.
MarineDepot.com

Found a bunch on Nextag too. Ranging from 10" up to 72" was I think the longest. lol, I guess if you wanted to clean your pond with a faucet vacuum? lol

Thanks guys. I think I saw them also on drsfostersmith.com, so I will probably just order it from there.

Good idea...not everyone has a jack of all trades like I do here. My bf can put anything together from computer, to fish equipment.

I on the other hand would be ordering it too.

Allie, it sure is nice having someone like that around. My hubby likes to fix what he can around the house, but he has been working so much with his new job I didn't think to see if he would want to try and figure something else out.

There are pros and cons. Too many extra parts, pieces of wood laying around or gathering dust in boxes. Not to mention computers all over the place. Who cleans the house for the most part? >>>me.
