I cleaned my Fishtank a little bit ago,and when I canged out the carbon in my filter there was a life black worm on it.It was about 5mm long.I have no idea where it came from and if it is bad or not.It is a 55g tank with 4 Angels,2 Cory's and 1 Pleco and the water levels are fine.Any help is appriciated.

nope sorry,i didn't think about taking a pic until i had thrown it out already.first i thought it was poop til it started to move.lol.

Could it be a fly larvae? ive heard some stories flies laying their eggs in filter cartridges.

i don't know,but i did notice some small flies around my tanks lately.their shape reminds me of a stealth bomber,kinda.i don't know where they are coming from and they seem to be just around the fish tanks.
