Hey guys....I just bought the Python cleaner and have used it a few times. I have noticed that the vacuum is not as strong as a regular siphon hose. It takes a long time to vacuum and the flow of debris and water seem very slow. Is this due to the water pressure from my faucet? I have it hooked up to my kitchen faucet which has one of those flexible hose connections. I have to use the universal connector for this. Any ideas?

The power of the vac is directly related to the pressure of water from the faucet. The only other thing that could affect the flow, is the valve before the vac connector. Make sure the valve is set to the open position, and then adjust the water flow to get the desired suction.

It works fine with our kitchen faucet. Maybe it's broken or something is loose?

I would say yes its effected by your water pressure. Try turning it full blast? I've found it easier to take the big hard plastic vac part off and use just the end of the hose. Seems i get better suction that way. However i don't own any gravel so i don't have to dig around in the substrate.
