Hi,
My 43gallon aquarium is now 3 weeks old and the bogwood has been in for 2, as have plants. 6 zebra danios were put in a week ago, along with 3 snails (which I have issues with, but that's another story!)
There seems to be an algal growth on the bogwood. I was not expecting this! How do you keep it clean - with a brush or what? I have brushed off lightly for now, but would like to know what I should expect / do?

One of the pleco species that likes wood in their diet might be a good addition to your tank. I wouldn't add any more fish until your tank is cycled though. I think it's the panaque type that likes wood in their diet. Check them all out at planet catfish.
