Will 2 of each do ok together?
2 - Yellow Labs
2 - Red Zebras
2 - Electric Blue
Also what else could I put in with them? Any sort of catfish or sucker?

they will fight tremendously with each other...africans need to be overstocked and in a minimum of 55gals..you want 1m to every 3-4f and in a 30 40 gal , there wont be enough space to have their own territories ..what about just picking one of those species for a 40g tank?

in a 40g with a ton of rock caves, it could work ...

In a 40 you could stock 12 or so demasoni and a group of yellow Lab's. I'd run either 2 aquaclear 70 or a single 110 HOB on the tank, and do massive weekly water changes.
