I was dropping of an order of Guppies to my LFS today and noticed they had a larger than normal Green Severum in one of their tanks, about 5 inchs. He was bought in as a rescue so I deciced to take him home. He's going into the 90gal with the other Cichlids, fingers crossed he should be ok. He's a lot smaller than the Brute the Oscar, but he generally doesn't bother the other fish, and he's bigger than the JD, Con and Jewels, so hopefully he'll be fine. I'm just about to do a waterchange and re-arrange some decor, and then I'll put him in.

Ok, re-arranged the decor a bit and acclimated him in some of the water I removed during the waterchange, then put him in. Brute lunged at him a few times, but he does that to all the fish, then ignored him. The Cons and Jewels showed hardly any interest at all. The only one who seemed a bit put out was Cresswell my JD, maybe because they're around the same size. He squared up to the Severum a few times when he came near his cave. Heres a few pics............
