Hello Puffer. I would let her know that adding chlorox will more than likely kill the fish and destroy the cycle along with it. I highly suggest that she doesn't.
But explain to her why it will kill them. The chlorine in the bleach is what will do it. The chlorine when absorbed will cause their red blood cells to burst. UGH Be nice when explaining(I know your scared)

well, I explained the dangers of it. So hopefully she wont. I figure putting clorox into the tank would be the miniature equivalent of a chemical nuke.
