Issues with Breeding Acei's

Well let me go to the point. Is been a few times that my acei's two different females spits their little ones in the big tank before they are old enough to go hide and stay there. So i've been forced to put the female in a floating tank that I made with the crochet material. When I see the fish they are way to small. Do anyone had this issues before?

I had a female lab that did that. Some are just really "nervous mommas" I would consider getting either a 10 or 20 long and puting some caves in them and when they spawn immediatly move them. Then by the time they do spit you will have been able to count the 21 days. If they are spat to early, you might want to research "egg tumblers"
I would otherwise go the 21 days and strip them, then put them back in the main tank.

That's exactly what I did. I build a floating tank on the main tank and today I'm about to strip my Cobalt blue that ended up been a girl and move the little ones to the side that has all my little ones. So far in less that 2 months I had 2 batches of Red Zebras from the same girl, One batch of Cobalts, and now one of Acei's. Yay babies. I already posted some on Aquabid too.

Holy Tamales! Lots of Fishies.

Lost of fish. I just did what I mention earlier. I just Striped the Cobalt blue from her babies and come to find out she had about 30 babies. Holy tamales I never seen so many fishies come out of a Cichlid's mouth. Here is Her in the pic and the babies on their net till they are a little bigger. I moved her into the 100 gal with the other Cichlids and put the Acei on the compartment that I had the Cobalt in. Wow I'm still amazed about it. The last pic is were the new babies are and in the other side the Acei is there with a clay pot and the middle some Red Zebra Juvies.
