| feeding acei fry
i just added 8 yellow tail acei that are about 1/2" to my mbuna tank last week and want to make sure im feeding them well enough. what i have been doing is just crushing my cichlid flake up small enough for them to eat and to small for my yellow labs to wanna mess with. they all seem to be eating the tiny flake bits just fine, is there anything else i should be feeding as well? |

I use ken's fish food, he has a ton of different flakes, pellets, crumbles (and cheap).
I use the veggie flakes as a "staple" then rotate in other types of food. | |

| thanks for the input, im having lots of trouble lately trying to figure out the diet for my cichlids.
angela - i tried feeding the labs a leaf of romaine lettuce, but they wouldnt touch it. actually nobody would, not even my pleco | |

| I put an entire leaf of green lettuce...on a veggie clip..the leaf is about 4 times the size of my fish...48 hours later, its gone...but you cant feed them in between ...otherwise they are like kids and will eat the flakes and such before they go near the lettuce...it takes them time to know veggies before dessert  | |
