| It's got a real pretty blue body with black stripes. It's belly is a light blue or maybe white on the bottom. It's hard to get a real good pic because it's only about an inch or so long and fast, lol . |

| Thanks Maddie but i don't think thats it.That one has more stripes on its body and appears to have a longer more slender body charactoristic than mine.I'd say this one is fairly young so it might be hard to say for sure. |

| Thats a kenyi fry without a doubt! A pretty little one! I have about 30 just like it right now, and more on the way, my momma has a huge mouthful (on average she spits 25-30 a batch) Last edited by Angela_96; January 20th, 2009 at 09:33 PM.

You could go up to 15 cichilds in that tank easy, overstocking keeps the territories down, and lowers aggression. I would recomend fish from 3 groups, right now having 1 from the met species (the kenyi), 1 from the lab group already, and then you can choose from other species like cynatilapia afra, psuedo species, tropheops. The afra are really colorful little guys and they are not very aggressive. Keeping to the 1 male to 3 or more females is best, the male can spread his aggression through the females (having more will really help). |

The labs: the female will have less black on her anal fin, and the black on her dorsal is not as prominent. They can be sexed early on, I have 1 inch fry that I can tell m/f from. |
