I wouldn't.

South American cichlids like the bolivian ram have fairly different needs than the African cichlids you already have.

That's what I thought. The colors are so cool and vibrant. Too bad they can't be together. BTW I seen a lot of people using like terracota pots on their cichlid tanks and other is that safe? or they are plastic?
Thanks.

I'm one of those pepople

As long as it's a plain clay pot, you're fine... but I'd stay away from anything with a glaze or paint that could leach into the water over time. They might be fine, they might not, but it's not something I would want to risk.

For stocking a cichild tank the cichlids from different lakes in africa are not compatable, the tretocephalus is a lake Tang cichild, the others are malawi.
The SA fish are not compatable as well with lake malawi mbuna.
You should have 1 male to 2 or more females, and overstock to keep down aggression.
Also the electric labs are from the lab species, the red zebras are from the metriclima species, so when you are picking more cichlids out other cichilds of lab species or met species (example no hongi, met kenyi).

The pots are fine, they do better with caves from rocks.

The cynatilapia afra species are compatable, and the pseudo species are as well.
