Well my severum pair have laid eggs again! But this time I hope My bn pleco doesnt take them out over night like the last lot.

I dont want6 to take them out i want to watch their parents care for the young and protect them but I will remove several of them.

Just thought I would let You know the exciting news!

Um, ok well last night i couldnt believe it I was watching the parents tend to the eggs then suddenly they started fighting !! And both thought it would be a good idea to eat there own eggs!!

I was talking with cpk on the way to work, and we have come to believe that they may be to nervous to care for the eggs because the tank is quite heavily stocked. But why eat your own eggs? And they seem to be getting ready to spawn again!

alot of the times with cichlids, if they feel threatened, they eat their own thinking that no one else can get them...my angels have always eaten their own until this last batch I put a divider in...right now I still have eggs which is longer than any time before..but it did take 3 tries to get this far...
