African cichlids shouldn't be mixed with other fish, the platies, betta, and danios should be in another tank. The africans are not compatible w/ any other cichlids, or fish. The platies, betta, and danios will end up being lunch when the cichlids get big enough, if they don't get beat up.
African cichlids require hard water with a 7.6-8ish pH. If you post a pic of the other cichilds we could try to id them.

When you stock an african cichlid tank you want to overstock it with african cichlids, not mixing 2 of any type (your acei is a psuedo acei, the yellow labs are a lab so you shouldn't mix it w/ another psuedo african like a psuedo flavus, etc...) Also, you want to keep your cichlids w/ the same aggression levels, the acei and labs are a good mix, they are on the lower aggression scale when it comes w/ lake malawi mbuna cichlids.

Your tank looks very pretty!

I agree with Angela about the cichlids. They are not community fish! They may seem cute and friendly now, but they will turn aggressive as they mature. Also, as she said, don't have multiple species of the same genus and do keep fish of the same aggression level. Make sure you have a good mix of male to female. The usually recommended ratio is 3-4 females to one male. There are exceptions, but this is a good starting point.

Your yellow lab looks really cute. He's going to love all those rocks.

Your tank looks really good. Nice job on decorating it.

Please consider getting your betta a tank of it's own. He really doesn't belong with the other fish in your tank.
I'm really afraid someone is going to be seriously hurt or killed.

You can take part of the sponge or some of the ceramic filter media from your filter and put it into the filter of your new tank. This will cycle your tank very quickly. Using gravel, decor, and a little bit of water from the old tank also helps. I have cycled almost all of my tanks this way

Even as Juvys African Cichlids get picky and territorial. I made the newbie mistake mixing my two Oscars with an Electric Blue Cichlid (which the dumb petco guy told me was okay) and sure enough a week later I found myself getting a new tank off craigslist for the Oscars...the African Cichlid chased them away and nipped at there fins. I later donated the African to a LFS.

That's great you are getting another tank cycled! Glad you found fishlore.
