African cichlids shouldn't be mixed with other fish, the platies, betta, and danios should be in another tank. The africans are not compatible w/ any other cichlids, or fish. The platies, betta, and danios will end up being lunch when the cichlids get big enough, if they don't get beat up.
African cichlids require hard water with a 7.6-8ish
pH. If you post a pic of the other cichilds we could try to id them.
When you stock an african cichlid tank you want to overstock it with african cichlids, not mixing 2 of any type (your acei is a psuedo acei, the yellow labs are a lab so you shouldn't mix it w/ another psuedo african like a psuedo flavus, etc...) Also, you want to keep your cichlids w/ the same aggression levels, the acei and labs are a good mix, they are on the lower aggression scale when it comes w/ lake malawi
mbuna cichlids.
