whew.. I have moved some mbuna and cleaned tanks...

I decided today to switch the yellow labs into the peacock tank and the hongi into the 55, the yellow labs seem to breed no matter what, and the hongi seem to be kind of shy, so I figure it would give them a better chance.
Then I had to move my yellow momma that is ready to spit into a holding tank.
I also put my ps flavus in my 55g now they are big enough.

Then I scrubed all my tank walls, vaccumed my tanks, and changed the water... what work that was!

What did I get in return? My fish look 100% happier!

Congrats on a lot of hard work, you now get to reap the rewards as do your fish! I am jealous you have so many tanks :-) and great fish.

Will soon have just one cichlid tank myself can't wait.

How big are your hongi? My 2.5-3" male is pretty aggressive in the way of giving chase and showing of his newly aquired colors.
I have the cobue, some acei and the hongi 2 for now, but I am getting 7 more soon as I have the extra money too. I gave the labs and my female blue hap to a friend. I want to start with all the same sized fish and young.

My hongi is 3 inches long, I got him at a pretty good size. I am glad I put the hongi w/ my larger sized mbuna he fits in better with them, they are all his size.
