So I pretty much made a list to see what fish I wanted and see if I could house them. In my research I noticed On every website the max size of fish were different. Two major examples were red devil and jack dempsey. I saw sites for jacks saying 10" -15" and red devils I saw 10"- 16" and oscars forget it I've seen 13- Godzilla status. Red devils or Terrors or Jacks are on the top of my list for fish to get so it will be one of those and thanx for all your help guys in helping me pic was fish to get.

What size tank do you have? If it's 10-15" you need a big tank regardless. All the species of fish you are looking at need a big tank even when small, due to their aggression levels.
With red devils you need a BIG tank...they get super aggressive even with people. Any JD we've had here were shy and got picked on by our Oscar or hide all the time.
Any type of terror is mean and will be hard to keep even with his own kind. We had a 3" green terror who killed anything who came near him. I hope you are fully prepare to handle the aggression....I know I wasn't.

Yeah I had goldfish and catfish and all were boring. But I been hearing good things about some of these fish so Im game. You guys are pretty good on info vs pet store workers you don't wanna hear the story about how I bought a rainbow and a silver shark when i told the lady im pretty sure u can't have to sharks and she swore you could and 24hrs later my silver got destroyed. Also quick question what gets bigger devils or terrors because it flipped flopped on alot of sites also do you recomend salt in the tank and how much.
