Convict Cichlid Help

Im pretty sure ima get 2 convict fish, but one question can u put a male and male in a tank and have them get along or you need one female one male. Also kinda off topic I saw a fish called a red terror that I like but I think they get to big also I saw sometimes they get confused with mayan fish how big do they get.

depends on the size of the tank...20 gal or more would be ok with two of the same sex convicts...no fems or you will have babies galore...not sure on the red terror...goodluck!

Red terrors are the same as Green terrors....evil fish.
Male convicts seem to be less aggressive than females...I would have 2 males.
