Feeding Mbuna

I know that they are herbivourous fish and don't do well with large amounts of meaty proteins. What is best to feed them? I know veggeis like squash and lettuse and spinach are good and i also have frozen veggie food and pellets for herbivourous cichlids is there anything else?

I also feed mine African Attack sinking cichlid pellets. They seem to really like them

All i used to feed was NLS cichlid pellets. But a good quality spirulina flake would be good as well.

I got some "Omega One Veggie Flakes" for mine. I'm not sure how good they are, but my mbuna seem to like them. I also give them some spirulina flakes as a "snack."

I use OSI color enhancing flakes once a day the same day I feed blood worms, then I use spirulea flakes for the other feedings.... they only get blood worms everyother day skipping the weekends...
Then I am giving all my fish vita chem (which is making a huge difference in growth/color)

and lastly I keep a veggie clip w/ romaine lettuce in the mbuna tanks.
