What can I put with these fish??

I am trying to pick my cichlids to stock my 90 gal. Everything I like seems to have compatibility problems! I know I want to have yellow labs and red zebras. I would also like a blue species with bars (like a demasoni) and I love Rock kribensis but know I cant keep them with mbuna. Are there any species similar in coloring to either of these that are compatible with the labs and zebras?

Cynatilapia Afra species have some bars (some of them) they have the peacefull attitude that the labs and zebras do. I have hai reefs and they are beautiful. The Demasoni's are very aggresive little guys.

I really like the cynotilapia also, but I wasnt sure if their diet would cause a problem. The other fish are herbivores and I think cynotilapia are carnivores? Can I still keep them together?

Yes, what I do is rotate what I feed them and the cynatilapia love the veggie foods too.

One one day I give them a reg flake fook w/ color enhancer and garlic, the next feeding that day they get the spirulla flakes and a peice of romaine lettuce on a veggie clip...

The days that I give them bloodworms (everyother day skipping weekends) I give them sprulla on their first feeding.

They love that sced.(mine do anyways) and all of my fish grow like weeds and are very colorful

Rock kribs are from Lake Victoria and the demasoni are from Lake Malawi and should not go together. YES people do keep em together but doesn't mean it is right.
demasoni Should be in a species only tank...they are super aggressive.

If you want to know more please pm me with questions. I have been into african cichlids for over two years and learned a lot about what NOT to keep together.

That's not all true certain species are more aggressive.
I had an F1 white top afra male who was very aggressive. He has teeth and used them.
