The new melafix for cichlids, has anyone tried it yet?

I read about it in a fish mag and I was wondering if anyone has tried it yet? I love using melafix on the cichlids it does such a good job when they get fin nipped, etc.

I am not sure if the stuff we have now is the new stuff or not...but Melafix works on my cichlids awesome. I put some in a spray bottle and water it down to use on a regular basis. My Malawi cichlids get a bit beaten up during breeding mode so I just spray some in when I noticed new nips or rips.
I imagine the new stuff works as well if not better than the old stuff.

I have the reg api melafix and the stuff for cichlids is supose to be "extra strenth". I think I am going to order a bottle and have in on hand and see if its better. The reg melafix works so good, I like to use it for the "breeding" time and when we buy new fish. Actually if I looke in the tank and one fish has any roughed up scales I use it for at least 3 days. I can't complain for sure, I haven't knock on wood lost any cichlids in a long long time (w/ the exception of one kull deformed lab fry I saw)
