I got my Jaguar about a week ago, 5-6inches. Ive tryed feeding him Bloodworms,Brineshrimp, Pellets,Flakes nothing once in awhile he will nibble at one of them . I broke down and went to the local petsmart and picked up a few small feeder fish and he gobbeled them right down.

Im not real thrilled with him only eating feeder fish tho, id hate to have him or my tank get sick from a bad batch of fish Anyone got any other ideas on how to get him to eat something else?

You might try beef heart or other thawed, frozen foods. I like Hikari brand for frozen food.

If your Jag is used to eating live food the only way to get
it to revert to none live food is to starve it for 3/4 days.
This won't do the fish any harm at all,
after a few days defrost a few frozen shrimp/prawn and
drop them in one at a time and watch them disappear.
Once you get it taking none live food, give it a mixed
and varied diet like you mentioned above.
