I just found out my mom may get me a 55 gallon long tank dis summer, and I was wonderin if there are any chichilds that are easy to take care of, can fit in a 55 gallon tank, and what would be compatible with them.

Well, I saw you write a lot about angelfish. Angelfish are Cichlids A pair would be very happy in a 55G tank. Of course, if your other fish will also be compatible with angels.

55 gallon long? what are the dimensions on that?

im not sure, i saw the kit in petsmart, it was a top fin 55 gallon kit, all glass made the aquarium.
